Are You Truly Ready To Start An Internet Business From Home?

I decided to start an Internet business from home way back in January of 1999. As of this year (late 2009) I have seen thousands of entrepreneurs discuss the benefits and advantages of starting an Internet business from home. They talk about how much money one can make and about the freedom that comes with the entrepreneurial way, but that is only one side of the story. For example, it is a fact that you will encounter new challenges as you begin to work from home that you did not have to deal with while working for someone else at your job. If you are not prepared for this new world it could catch you off guard and lower your chances of success.

So, lets take an honest look at what it takes to start an Internet business from home so you can see the big picture.

Magical Internet Fairy Tales

All to often the decision to start an Internet business from home is largely an emotional one. Due to all of the hype that surrounds the home business industry, you may get the feeling that the Internet is some magical place where the normal laws of business and marketing do not apply. Turn-key systems abound and you are told you don’t have to sell anything or even know anything. The systems do it all for you.

One is left with the impression that the Internet is different and filled with magic, and anyone can make it as an entrepreneur.

If you believe this in any way you are going to have to shed this belief now. The Internet is simply a means of communication…that is it. The Internet is not a business opportunity for me, you, or anyone else.

The Internet is no different than the radio or television. Granted, it is the greatest form of communication we have ever seen and is changing the way we all do business, but it is still nothing more than a tool. If you can learn how to use this tool you can build a business to be proud of and you can make a fortune. There is certainly no better time than now to do this.

Your Business Is Marketing

In our world it is considered normal to spend thousands upon thousands of dollars to attend college or university so that one can learn a trade. We do this in the hopes of landing a good job with a good company. We understand that the more education we possess the more valuable we potentially are in the marketplace, thus we tend to place a high value on education and are willing to pay a high price for it.

Yet, for some reason, this basic and most rational process seems to disappear when it comes to starting a home business online. Where does it go? What possesses people to believe that it is possible to build a profitable business online with little to no investment in their marketing education and personal development?

As stated earlier, the Internet is not magic. The same business rules apply online as they do in the real world. In other words, marketing is marketing, online or off, and you will have to learn it and learn it well if you wish to succeed as an entrepreneur. You must take the time to learn your trade and invest in your education. In other words, you must learn that you are your highest value and that the wisest investment is in yourself.

If you are starting a home based business, nothing could be more true for you. You have just become your own CEO, CMO, and CFO, and a variety of other common corporate acronyms! It should make sense that your wisest investment will be in YOU and your education.

The Simple Success Equation

The entrepreneurial success equation is a real simple one…

The amount of money you can make in your Internet business from home is directly proportional to how valuable you are. It is really that simple.

If you are a network marketer your product is you and your business is marketing. If you are not sponsoring new people into your network marketing or MLM business it is primarily because they do not perceive you as a valuable leader who can help them achieve their goals. The prospect does not feel that a relationship with you is one they can benefit from. You have likely not invested enough time and money in the development of your product, which is you. They are simply not buying what you are offering them.

Conclusion

Entrepreneurs are not born they are forged and created. Free enterprise and the entrepreneurial path is still all about “survival of the fittest.” Only the strongest, most determined, and most fit profit. The kind of business you start doesn’t matter as much as the person you need to become to achieve success with it. Let go of magical fairy tales and accept that success will come when the emotion leaves. Make decisions based on sound logic, not sudden bursts of emotion or imagination.

If you wish to be successful in business your must develop a more superior product than your competitors. In other words, you must become superior. If you don’t get excited with the prospect of developing superiority in your market, then the entrepreneurial lifestyle may not be for you.

What about tennesse? My daughter is at vocal coaching to become a singer and wants to move to tennesse when she’s 18 years old, She’s 10 at the moment. I doubt i’ll be aloud to carry a gun in the usa if I lived there because i’ve got aspergers syndrome and tourettes (but a rare form with no jerky movements) and have a criminal record of lots of crinimal damage. I used to get pissed off and smash things but never hurt a single person.

im sure the usa dosent have a record accounts of yopur medical conditions so i would try(if you think you are mentally capable and fully trust yourself to own a gun”)to get one if you do come down but i heard canada is nice also just like texas but healthcare and very lenleint on marijana laws but pretty much same gun laws as well and tenn.

Personally, given the fact that the house I live in is very small I would just focus on getting the hell out of there and phoning 911 from a neighbours house. The reason I say this is because I have two doors going outside within a short distance from my bedroom, and if I did use my house phone they could hear where I am because the phone beeps whenever one of the keys is pressed.
