The problem with the true believer is that an issue becomes black and white. There is no room for discussion. The true believer is right and if you do not agree with him/her, you are dead wrong. Global temperature in 2003 was the hottest in the historical record, and the temperature increase over the 20th century is likely to be the highest of the past millennium.
